Hi everybody!

As you perhaps read it, I had my second conversation with Emily La. We started talking about fall’s holidays, especially about Halloween and Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving organization seems a bit complicated for her because the 26th of November is one of her project deadline, so she won’t have pretty much time to prepare that day. We said a lot of things about holidays but Emily efficiently summed up all of that!
We talked about the Educational system too. In France, education in public establishment is free from nursery school to middle school. Cost of studies in higher education depends on the establishment we choose. Public preparatory classes for entrance to Grandes Ecoles are free, most of universities cost less than €500 per year. The cost of engineering school remains extremely variable. In the US, most of students need borrowing money. Still, they generally prefer to enter an education undecided program – which means to pay for one more year – rather than to make the wrong educational choice.
Once again, our meeting stood at extreme hours (thank you Emily for staying awake until 11 PM!). Anyway, it was worth it!

Camille
